If you see such a picture on your iPhone when dialing a call, then you need to contact the service center.   <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Avoid breaking the audio codec!<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">According to our observations, the main reason for audio codec failure is mechanical damage caused by a crash. In other words, the failure occurs after a fall or impact. We often see dents on the aluminum body of the iPhone or cracks on the glass of devices that customers bring us for repair.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">It happens that after replacing a non-functioning display, some time passes and the sound stops. This is the result of past crashes of the device, not a problem caused by the display replacement and previous intervention by the technician.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are particularly prone to audio codec issues.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">There are far fewer fixes of this nature on the iPhone 6S, although the chips are absolutely  <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">identical to the designation <\/span><strong><i>338S00105<\/i><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Therefore, we have concluded that the resulting failure is a design defect and applies only to newer iPhone models.   <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">How to identify a malfunctioning audio codec independently<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">To accurately determine the audio codec malfunction, you need to check several parameters and operating modes on your iPhone.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">So if the sound has disappeared on your iPhone 7 or 7 plus and you can&#8217;t hear anyone-and no one can hear you-check the mesh protecting the earpiece and also the protective mesh by the microphone. It&#8217;s possible that they&#8217;re clogged and covered with dirt that doesn&#8217;t let sound out. In this case, cleaning or replacement of the mesh is necessary.    <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Reboot the device, there may have been a software failure and after rebooting the microphone and speaker will correct itself. However, if the iPhone takes too long to restart, this is a warning signal indicating an audio codec failure on the motherboard. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Try calling any number and try putting it on speakerphone. If the speakerphone button is not active, this is another symptom of an audio codec glitch and a problem on the motherboard. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>How to fix the sound problem on iPhone 7 and 7 plus?<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">You will need to contact a service centre and have a diagnosis carried out. The technician must examine the equipment and offer a solution to the problem.
